CAPABILITIES AND SERVICES
Film/Video
We shoot everything from Hi-8 and DV to Uncompressed HD and Film. We are familiar with all standard formats, including 16mm, 35mm, DVCProHD & Blue-Ray, and Red Camera.
Audio
Audio is captured via Sennheiser wireless mics or Sennheiser ME-80 shotgun and fed via 1/4 inch or grounded XLR directly into the camera at 96 khz, or portable DAT at 48 khz DAT. On-set mixing can also be done via portable mixing board. Final audio mix downs can be done at 24 bit, 96 khz and higher inside Logic Pro.
Lighting/Grip
Our lighting and grip packages are all pro, including Mole Richardson 650′s and 1K’s, along with a wide selection of mounts and diffussion.
Post-Production
Studio editing is done on Macintosh, using Firewire 800 or USB 2.0 for a losless signal transfer. Visuals are viewed via 24 inch Apple Cinema Displays and audio monitored through Event PS8 Studio monitors. Editing software includes Apple’s Hollywood quality Final Cut Pro HD Studio. High resolution graphics and effects are created in Motion, Live Type, and Color. Pro surround Audio mixing in accomplished in Soundtrack Pro 2 and Logic Pro 8. Other software used includes Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, ImageReady, Quark Express, Macromedia Freehand, and Lightwave.
Scoring
Music scoring is done with a combination of Soundtrack Pro and Logic Pro 8 tied to a Roland XV-5080 synth module and a Fatar Studio 610 midi controller. We also work with Apple Main Stage, Loop Utilities, and Garage Band.
Media Delivery
Final presentations can be delivered via Apple Compressor 3 in HD DVD, BLUE RAY, DVD, VHS, DV, Hi8, Digital-8, Quicktime, Windows Media, Flash, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, etc. We can also deliver Uncompressed Raw Data formats. In addition, we can generate movie files in all standard codecs. DVD menus can be as simple as click and play or as elaborate as your mind can conjure with DVD Studio Pro.
Media Duplication
AMP also provides duplication services and transfers of all kinds, including 8mm and 16mm film to any of the delivery options listed above. Click “duplications and transfers” in the right hand column for more information.
